Cressi PRO STAR
Cressi PRO STAR

PRO STAR is a fin, derived from the Cressi’s apnea professional models, that introduces on the medium-length foot pocket fins’ market the usage of especially reactive materials of professional level. The result is a fin of muscular design with reduced dimensions, a surprising nerve and a great propulsive performance. It’s an excellent combination between resistance, power, comfort and aesthetics. Pro Star is the most powerful foot pocket fin of the Cressi range (except for the specific deep apnea models) and represents an optimal election for advanced snorkeling, amateur apnea, light diving without boot without sole and underwater hockey.

Materials:

  • Main propylene body: this material, inherited from apnea fins, has as main feature the extremely rapid energy transmission applied and its great structural rigidity. It is applied on the blade and on the internal sandwich sole area. It is really nervous and reactive and facilitates an effective and agile flutter. It has a relationship effort-efficiency clearly superior to traditional materials (natural or thermoplastic rubber, polyurethane, EVA). It also has a great resistance to breaks to the point that Cressi guarantees it lifelong to a sportive usage.

  • Flexible elastomer: it’s applied on the foot pocket and on areas that require flexibility and elasticity, because that influences the diver’s comfort (on the foot pocket’s forefoot, the sole’s interior and the instep area that is in contact with the anckle). It’s also applied on areas that require anti-slip capacity: on the sole (only the floor contact area) and on the blade sides. The fusion of both materials is produced at molecular level and its solidity is guaranteed lifelong to a sportive usage.

  • “Foot pocket-under-blade design”: The blade arises from the superior part of the foot pocket, linking solidly the fin to the foot and transmitting all the generated effort while flapping without energy loss through soft areas. This version allows channeling the water from the ankle to the blade’s end, which is different from traditional models, in which the foot pocket doesn’t help to improve. Besides improving the flapping direction, this design provides features between 10% and 15% higher than other similar models on the market.

Decreasing blade side thickness “spina di pesce” to improve the flapping direction and achieve a greater inertia from fin’s end. This concept, inherited from apnea fins, means that the blade has a decreasing thickness as it approaches the end. This way, the flutter’s curving recovery causes on the fin a spring effect when the blade recovers. Also, it makes the fins’ flexion to be more progressive, improving the flutter directionality.

The inside part of the foot pocket is extremely anatomic due to the fact that it has been designed with effort with computer using loads of measurements to configure the perfect anatomic volumes. It guarantees a perfect strength transmission of leg / foot / blade.

Cressi AIR
Cressi AIR
The Air's advanced hydrodynamic profile is a byproduct of Cressi’s Dual Integrated Frame Technology System patent, integrating the silicone skirt to the lens frame. This results in a reduced overall thickness and an increased field of vision.

The Big Eyes inclined glass system is prolonged by soft curved lines above the cheekbones, improving lower and lateral visibility that are practically unlimited.

Weight: only 125 g.

This mask’s EVO skirt is made of a silicon chloride-less silicon blend which, in addition to having absolute transparency to improve visibility, has an increased resistance to both fogging and premature discolouration, giving it a greater durability in accordance with the well-known Italian brand’s equipment-for-life guidelines.

The Air's frame has swiveling, easily adjustable buckles that increase user customization, providing stability, adaptability and unprecedented fitting to this mask.

This mask has a particular tapered structure deriving directly from the highly popular Nano-mask patent.

The Dual Integrated Frame Technology System allows you to join the silicone skirt to the lens frame without major interruptions of the curvature continuity.

The result is a mask with an extremely hydrodynamic shape and, visibility being equal, a significantly smaller size.

The field of view obtained is particularly wide, laterally and in the lower zone.

The skirt, in the front part, has a structural silicone insert which increases the sealing ability of the mask and creates an exceptionally pleasant chromatic play.

Micrometer adjustable buckles.

Cressi TROPICAL 2 MM
Cressi TROPICAL 2 MM

The Cressi Tropical gloves are five fingered gloves 2 mm thick neoprene, made from two different soft and light materials.

The palm and finger area uses a light grey Napa that becomes extraordinarily soft upon contact with the water.

However, the upper part of the glove and the wrist area are made from very thin, supple neoprene.

A large area that corresponds to the upper side of the wrist allows for instant adjustment, both before and during the dive.

These are particularly suitable gloves when you need the very best touch sensitivity in the fingers.

The palm also offers good resistance to abrasions.

Offered in blue camo and brown camo to match our Blue Hunter and Brown Hunter lines.

Cressi GARA MODULAR
Cressi GARA MODULAR

Cressi was the first manufacturer to use the thermoplastic rubber-blade foot pocket and also the first one to thermally fused in a single element three different materials to improve the effort transmission. The need to dispose of a removable version to install blades made of carbon or other different materials leads us to the new Gara Modular, which allows the Cressi experience with several materials composition and many features.

FOOT POCKET

The self-adjusting foot pocket is constructed with the most modern multi compound joining process to deliver a foot pocket that can offer comfort and suppleness around the foot where desired and yet have stiffer compounds under the foot pocket and heel area where power transfer takes place.

Gara Modular’s foot pocket is wider than the other Gara fin models. We suggest to use it with neoprene socks in order to have a proper fit.

For use without neoprene socks, we recommend buying one smaller size.

INSOLE

The new insole for Gara Modular fins is recommended for use with thin boots in temperate waters because it improves the kick performance.

The semi-rigid material of the insole is completely recycled.

The insoles are supplied as a pair (right and left foot) and can be cut into their shape in three different sizes, according to pre-printed guidelines.

All fin components are also supplied separately.

The original blade is made of high-modulus propylene (2500 Mpa).

Cressi GARA 2000 HF
Cressi GARA 2000 HF

This is the first fin that is made of three different materials merged in the same process (patented by Cressi). Each one is applied on distinct areas of the fin according to its requirements of flexibility, hardness, reaction or resistance. Thus, the required ideal and dynamic feature can be allocated on each area without the need of increasing thickness, obtaining great lightness and inertia saving.

Materials

  • Flexible elastomer –thermo rubber – Shore 50º (grey color): it’s applied on areas that require flexibility and elasticity (on the foot pocket’s forefoot, the sole’s interior and the instep area that is in contact with the anckle) because that influences the diver’s comfort

  • Compact elastomer Shore 90º (black color): it’s flexible but not elastic. It’s applied on areas that require a rubber composition, anti-slip but strong and of great resistance (on the longitudinal ribs, foot pocket’s sole and foot’s head strap). This material links the energy transmission critical point (the instep) with the nerves in a single piece, avoiding the usual energy loss through extremely flexible components of the foot pocket that produce a heavy and slow flutter that fatigues the instep.

  • High-modulus propylene: this material, inherited from apnea fins, has as main feature the extremely rapid energy transmission applied and its great structural rigidity. It is applied on the blade and on the internal sandwich sole area. It is really nervous and reactive and facilitates an effective and agile flutter. It has a relationship effort-efficiency clearly superior to traditional materials. It also has a great resistance to breaks to the point that Cressi guarantees it lifelong to a sportive usage.

This is a fin born from apnea that is very appreciated by guides and diving instructors who work in areas with water flows.

Cressi CALIBRO
Cressi CALIBRO

Cressi’s next generation diving masks are all equipped with the IDF-INTEGRATED DUAL FRAME TECHNOLOGY which offers exceptional field of view, and the new Calibro is no exception.

The mask is designed so that the integrated face and frame allow for an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape and a particularly wide lens, maintaining the mask extremely close to the face.

Cressi’s Calibro combines minimal internal volume with a phenomenal field of view due to the raked angle of the frame.

The buckles are, as always, directly integrated into the rigid skirt through a solid but flexible rubber attachment that allows you to adjust and place the mouthpiece without shifting the mask.

Thanks to its matte coating the mask’s components all match, enhancing the underwater experience since it prevents reflections in the water that may disturb marine life. Calibro is the perfect mask also for free-diving since it is designed to provide the diver with a feeling of total freedom and comfort.

CRESSI FOG STOP SYSTEM New Patent Pending

NEW PATENT PENDING. A patented membrane surrounding the inner nose pocket which acts as a barrier and traps any moisture escaping from the diver’s nose involuntarily when breathing through the mouth.

The result is that not only is the moisture channeled away from the lenses, thus avoiding the fogging up of them, but it also reduces the need to compensate for pressure.
